Drain Cleaning & Clog Removal

Slow drains, recurring clogs and complete backups can develop from grease, debris, roots, damaged piping and other restrictions. Trident Plumbing can diagnose the cause of the blockage and determine the appropriate method to restore proper drainage rather than simply treating the symptom.

Sewer Camera Inspections

A sewer camera allows us to inspect the inside of a drain or sewer line and identify problems such as roots, broken or separated piping, heavy buildup and other restrictions. Camera inspection can help locate the problem before unnecessary excavation or replacement work is performed.

Sewer Line Repair & Replacement

When a sewer line is damaged, collapsed or repeatedly causing problems, Trident Plumbing can evaluate the condition of the line and determine whether a targeted repair or replacement is appropriate. We focus on correcting the actual failure rather than recommending replacement when a repair will solve the problem.

Hydro Jetting

Hydro jetting uses high-pressure water to remove heavy buildup, grease, debris and other material from drain and sewer piping. When appropriate for the condition of the pipe, jetting can clean the inside of the line more thoroughly than conventional snaking alone.

Signs You May Have a Sewer or Drain Problem

  • Multiple drains backing up or draining slowly
  • Toilets bubbling or gurgling
  • Sewage backing up through tubs, showers or floor drains
  • Recurring clogs after previous drain cleaning
  • Sewer odors inside or around the property
  • Wet or unusually green areas above an underground sewer line

Why Drain and Sewer Services May Be Needed for Recurring Problems

A drain that repeatedly clogs may have a problem beyond the immediate blockage. Roots, pipe damage, improper slope, buildup or a partially collapsed sewer line can cause the same symptoms to return after the line has been cleared. When a problem is recurring, identifying the underlying cause can prevent repeated service calls and unnecessary expense.

Trident Plumbing can use sewer camera inspection and other diagnostic methods when appropriate to evaluate the condition of the piping. Once the problem is identified, we can explain whether cleaning, hydro jetting, a localized repair or sewer line replacement makes sense for the condition of the system.

When to Call for Drain or Sewer Service

One slow sink or tub may be caused by a localized clog, but problems affecting several fixtures can indicate a blockage farther down the drainage system. If toilets begin gurgling, multiple drains slow down at the same time, or wastewater backs up through a tub, shower or floor drain, stop using the affected plumbing and have the system checked.

Recurring problems are also worth investigating. Clearing the same drain repeatedly without determining why it keeps clogging can postpone the real repair and increase the total cost over time.
